San Francisco Union Square & Ferry Building Farmer's Market Timelapse

I have finally had the time to install Magic Lantern firmware on my 60D. The software is pretty incredible, is entirely free, and you should definitely give it a shot if your camera is supported. It adds a ton of features that are far beyond the camera's original capabilities.

Yesterday I took the intervalometer for a try, and made a couple timelapse videos at two of my favorite spots in San Francisco, the Ferry Building Farmer's Market and Union Square. I am only scratching the surface of what ML can do at this point. Enjoy!

Coachella 2009 - Timelapse at the Opening of the Gates

I am still going through all of my videos from Coachella, but I did finally finish one of them!

This is a time lapse of the gates opening at Coachella 2009. It is running at 24fps and is composed of 581 images. An image was taken every 2 seconds for 20 minutes, from 12:05 to 12:25 on April 18, 2009, with a Canon 30D SLR with all manual settings. Shutter at 1/500sec, Aperture f/8, focal length 28mm, ISO-100.

I love time lapse photography and I want to do some more work over the summer with it. For now, enjoy the short clip I did at Coachella embedded below.

Be sure to watch it in full screen and HD, it will be much clearer.
