College, College, College

After years of hard work and a plethora of college applications, I can say (for the time being) that my pursuit of a school of higher education has come to a close.

This past weekend, I was at Stanford University's admit weekend, and I must say that everything I had heard and read about Stanford was true. From the people to the research opportunities, it really is as amazing as it sounds. And with a rather anti-climactic click of the mouse, I put the my enrollment deposit down for Stanford's Class of 2013. I am extremely excited and I know I am truly fortunate to have the privilege of going to Stanford next year.  I can't wait to see what opportunities I encounter in the next couple of years.

As you know, I take my camera everywhere, and I took a panorama from the top of Hoover Tower. It is embedded below, click for a larger version.

Congratulations to Stanford's Class of 2013! Courtesy of the folks at Paradise Bakery and my parents! Best cake I have ever eaten :)

On a side note, I found this interesting graphic / article done by the NY Times in 2006 that shows "choice" rates, e.g. a students choice of one school over another. Interesting to take a look at.
