Photos Published in Problematics 2011 - An Undergraduate Anthropology Journal

As I did last year, I submitted a couple of my photos that I took on my trip to Tanzania last year to Problematics, an undergraduate journal of anthropology at Stanford. Fortunately they were accepted for publication alongside some fantastic journalist work by others. Thanks again to the editors who worked feverishly to make the journal a reality this year.

Tips on Shameless Promotion

One of the keys to consistent self-promotion that is not egocentric or overhwhelming is an online presence. I have long believe that your own personal website to show off your many talents can help you enourmously in many different endeavors. I can't tell you how many opportunities my website has lead me to. On that note, I was part of a broad group of interviewees on how to shamelessly promote yourself online. Done by Michelle Villalobos, all of the interviews and tips echo a similar theme, reputation control is key. Feel free to check out the full blog post here. Pretty interesting.

Associated Press Interview

Recently had another interview with David Pitt, an Associated Press reporter, on why the market rallied so much in September. You can find the article here. While I am not mentioned by name in the article, I am alluded to, along with "two dozen money managers, investment strategists and other experts". It was a lot of fun and I will hopefully be doing more interviews in the future.
