Camelback Night Hike

Last night, one of my best friends and I decided to take a hike up Camelback Mountain in Paradise Valley, AZ.

DISCLAIMER: MY FRIEND AND I HAVE HIKED THIS HUNDREDS OF TIMES, LITERALLY. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND HIKING IT AT NIGHT. IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND POTENTIALLY FATAL.

DO NOT TRY THIS. PERIOD.

Anyway, on to the good stuff. I of course took my camera along with me and did a full 360 degree panorama. In 18 years, I have never seen Phoenix like this before, it truly is a sight to see. I am trying out a new website with this panorama, Gigapan.org. I had played around with it right after they launched and didn't like it, but it appears they have improved in recent months, so I will give it another shot. Please click HERE to view it full screen, the small preview does not do it justice. It is over 85 mega pixels.

I also tried my hand at light painting last night. Its actually a lot of fun, and I don't think I did too bad on my first try. I have embedded a couple below, but be sure to click through and see the whole gallery.

Also, just for fun, i was playing around with manual focus on my camera to get some of those blurred city lights shots. Kind of interesting. Before blur, slightly blurred, and heavily blurred. Check em' out below.

Here are another couple of pictures, be sure to click through to see them all!
